Miti-Miti

Terms and Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026.

1. What information we store

We store what's needed for the app to work: your name, your transactions (expenses and income), your accounts, and, if you link the Telegram assistant, that conversation's history. We never sell or share this information with third parties, and we don't use it for advertising or for purposes other than operating Miti-Miti.

2. Encryption

Your name, your transaction descriptions, and your conversation history with the assistant are stored encrypted in our database (AES-256). This means that, even with direct access to the database, that content can't be read as plain text.

3. What the AI receives

The financial assistant runs on a third-party AI model to draft replies and interpret your messages. We never send it your real name or your partner's — only amounts, categories, and dates. If you mention a person's name in a message, we replace it with "you" or "your partner" before it reaches the model. If you send a voice note, the audio is sent to that same provider only to transcribe it to text; it isn't stored by Miti-Miti once processed.

4. Your personal space

Everyone has a private space for their own personal accounts and transactions. Your partner can't see it under any circumstances, neither on the web nor through the assistant.

5. Your rights over your data

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from Settings. This deletes your access, your personal accounts and transactions, and your conversation history with the assistant. Whatever you logged as shared is kept so your partner doesn't lose that history, shown as "Deleted member" instead of your name. If you'd rather we do it, or have another question about your data, you can write to us from Contact.

6. Changes to this text

If we make a meaningful update to these terms, we'll let you know inside the app.
